Workshop: The language of debate and communication about climate change

This workshop is one of the events which are part of the Thinkers Cycle “The language of debate and communication about climate change in Flanders”, with thinkers-in-residence Prof. Kjersti Fløttum (University of Bergen, Norway) and Prof. Mike S. Schäfer (University of Zürich, Switzerland).
This two-day workshop will take place in Brussels on 21 September 2021 and in Leuven on 22 September. You can register for the full two days or for one.
The book of abstracts has been made available. Presenters of papers will take up to 20 minutes for their presentation, leaving 10 minutes for Q&A.
Please note that participation, coffee and lunches are free, but for organisational reasons we kindly ask you to register and to indicate whether you wish to have lunch.
We are happy to be able to organise the workshops as onsite events, taking maximum care to observe the Covid-19 precautions. The rooms provided have the capacity to ensure social distancing. Within the buildings of the Academy (Brussels) and Campus Arenberg (Leuven) the rules of social distancing and the wearing of masks will be adhered to.
