Roads are closed, tunnels break down or bridges collapse... Governments are facing manifold challenges concerning the maintenance of infrastructure. Zooming in on the situation in Italy, France and The Netherlands, this international workshop offers new perspectives and input for debate.

The workshop was organized by the Working Group on “Sustainable Management of Infrastructure”. This Working Group is in the process of preparing a position paper on sustainable management of infrastructure and is looking for the situation in the surrounding countries. The workshop is organized in this framework and is open to professionals working on evaluation, maintenance and sustainable management of bridges, tunnels and roads.
