The Academical Cultural Forum was founded in December 1993. The ACF's underlying rationale is the observation that the course of the European Unification has been too exclusively financial and economical, and has lost sight of the cultural contributions of Europe to the world. The ACF explores the contribution and role of Europe to world culture in a series of colloquiums, lectures and concerts. Lectures with emphasis on the exact sciences can have a more global viewpoint.

De blikvanger van ACF in het voorjaar was de Lentecyclus over Staatsmodellen voor morgen.
